Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.

5% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say your skin will feel oily because there is such a minuscule percentage used.
Wild and exotic, this fragrance is a combination of red hibiscus, island plumeria, aloe vera leaf, and dewy cassis petals.
Knowing that florals often accelerate soap batter, I suspected Polynesian Hibiscus would do the same. When making soap, I always have a backup plan in case things don’t go as expected… or, in this case, as I had suspected.
Things accelerated so much that I almost ended up with “soap on a stick”—and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like! While the design didn’t turn out quite as planned, I was able to get all the colors into the mold. It may not be as pretty as I envisioned, but it smells lovely and washes beautifully.
When naming my soap, I consider several factors: colors, design, and fragrances. I chose the name Pink Forest Hills because the Hawaiian native hibiscus grows in the moist forests of the mountains of Moloka’i and

O’ahu. With pink soap batter used in the design, it only made sense to include ‘pink’ in the name.
