These soaps are still in their early stages, and as they cure, the colors may deepen as the liquid components (such as distilled water, goat milk, cucumber juice, or other liquids) evaporate from the bars. The grainy texture will also smooth out over time. Updated photos will be shared after the six to eight-week curing process.
Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.
Olive Oil, Stout Coffee, Goat Milk, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil (Responsibly Sourced), Sodium Hydroxide (none remains in the final product), Avocado Oil, Espresso FO, Castor Oil, Mocha Java FO, Sodium Lactate (Liquid Salt), Coffee grounds, Coffee beans (top decoration), EDTA (chelator), & Mica
3% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.
You need this fragrance in your collection – it smells just like freshly-brewed espresso. It’s a mix of bittersweet chocolate, coconut, almond, honey, caramel, roasted coffee beans, and burnt sugar.
The design for this soap was an in-the-pot swirl; however, the batter thickened up too quickly, so the swirls aren’t as noticeable as I had hoped.
The main batter was a lighter brown with coffee grounds in it, and the two other colors were gray and dark brown. The design called for less dark brown than gray (well, black, but I ran out of black mica).
Once all the batter was prepared, I alternated pouring the colors until the mold was filled just below the rim. The remaining batter was scooped into an individual soap mold for samples, which I give out at farmer’s markets

You need to smell this soap it is not overpowering but subtle. If you like to shower in the morning it might make you have a more positive start to your day but I don’t think you can eat it even though it smells good enough to. I like this soap and want more.
When I made this one, I wanted to take a huge bite out of it while cutting the bars! It smelled just like a coffee-flavored candy. And with the coffee grounds in it, I figured it could even brush my teeth as I ate it—lol!
My favorite scent, it is a perfect blend of coffee.
A good wake-me-up soap for the morning showering routine.
I’ve got this one on my mental list to make more of them. Nice coffee scent and topped with a coffee bean; I’m happy you also enjoyed using the soap.
