These soaps are still in their early stages, and as they cure, the colors may deepen as the liquid components (such as distilled water, goat milk, cucumber juice, or other liquids) evaporate from the bars. The grainy texture will also smooth out over time. Updated photos will be shared after the six to eight-week curing process.
Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.
Guinness Extra Stout Beer (de-alcoholized), Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (Lye, none remains in the final product), Safflower Oil, Castor Oil, Illipe Butter, Mango Butter, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Potassium Hydroxide (lye, non remains in the final product), DL-Panthenol (provitamin B5), Sodium Lactate (Liquid salt), Vitamin E Oil, EDTA (Chelator to help with hard water), & Black Rose & Spice Fragrance Oil. Colors: dark brown is due to the Guinness Extra Stout Beer and the lighter brown/tan contains Titanium Dioxide (a White Colorant).
7% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.
This fragrance oil has notes of black rose, patchouli, orange zest, vanilla orchid, and cinnamon leaf and smells oh so good.
Made with real stout and carefully selected ingredients for a bar that’s anything but ordinary. Unlike many liquid beard washes, a solid bar like this tends to last longer with regular use.
Beer Beard Soap – Guinness Extra Stout Inspired
Soap made with beer is known for producing a rich, creamy lather, thanks to the natural sugars found in the beer.
This bar was inspired by a classic glass of extra stout Guinness, with its deep, dark body and that unmistakable creamy foam on top. To capture that look, the soap features a dark base with a lighter top layer, giving it that freshly poured stout appearance.
While the beer itself doesn’t remain in its original form after saponification, it plays its part during the process, contributing to a dense, satisfying lather that makes this bar a great choice for beard washing.
The only stout you don’t have to drink to enjoy.
