Ingredients:
EVOO, Goat’s Milk, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil (Responsibly Sourced), Sodium Hydroxide (none remains in the final product), Chestnut & Birch FO, Castor Oil, Raw Sugar (boosts lather), EDTA (Chelator to help with hard water), Silk (Cruelty-Free), & colorants
3.5% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.

A delightful aroma of lightly roasted chestnut topped off with hints of leather and fresh rainfall notes. This fragrance was inspired by the BBW® scent. Top notes: Roasted Chestnuts; Middle notes: Sea Salt, Fireside; Base notes: Birch, Leather, Gentle Rain;
I wanted to create a fall-themed soap that resembled a leaf, and the secret feather swirl technique was perfect for this design. The “secret” refers to the feather-like swirl that appears suspended in the middle of the soap and is only revealed when the soap is cut.
To achieve this, I used my 3-section insert and selected a light tan base color. Green, orange, and brown were chosen to represent the transformation of leaves during autumn—from green to orange, and finally to brown as they become brittle. Instead of a hanger, I used a ribbon laid at the bottom of the mold, with its ends extending over the sides.
I poured the tan soap into the two outer sections and partially into the middle section. Then, I alternated layers of green, brown, and orange in the middle section until it was filled. Afterward, I slowly pulled the ribbon upwards through the tan base and the layers of green, brown, and orange, creating the secret feather. To finish, I splattered
any remaining colored soap batter on top and swirled it with a chopstick.

The perfect scent for this design was Chestnut and Birch, and I named this soap Autumn Chestnut Leaves.
