Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.
Olive Oil, Goat Milk, Coconut Oil, Palm OIl (Responsibly Sourced), Sodium Hydroxide (none remains in the final product), Autumn Fig FO, Castor Oil, Sodium Lactate (Liquid Salt), Silk (Cruelty-Free), & Micas
5% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.
You’ll love the mix of apple, lemon, ginger, fig, caramel, cinnamon, coffee, twigs, and forest.
I wanted to create some red, white, and blue soap for the May and July holidays, specifically the 4th of July and Memorial Day. After considering both, I chose to name this soap “Independence Day.”
The Circling Taiwan Swirl was a great technique for this design, and I used two dividers to create the three sections needed. This method involves laying multiple-colored lines along a mold. Once completed, a chopstick is used to swirl the soap down the length of the mold and then around the edge to create a circular pattern. The result is a delicate, beautiful design with crisp lines and repeating patterns. Instead of cutting the soap like a loaf of bread, this design requires a horizontal cut.
Although neither holiday falls in Autumn, I wanted an
outdoorsy scent, so I chose Autumn Fig Fragrance Oil, one that I really enjoy. I was quite satisfied with the results.
