Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.
Goat Milk, Olive Oil, Canola Oil (high oleic), Coconut Oil, Palm Oil (Responsibly Sourced), Lye (none is left in the final product), Apricot Kernel Oil, Castor Oil, Orange EO, *ORANGE SLICE , EDTA (a chelator, helps with hard water), Silk (Cruelty-Free), & colorants
5% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.
Aroma: Fresh, sweet orange peel with a refreshing, uplifting, & invigorating scent. Cold Pressed from fresh fruit peel.
I was curious about dehydrating orange slices and using them as decoration on the top of my soap. Although there’s a soap mold for that, I didn’t like how the imitation soap slices looked—too fake. Everywhere I read on the internet advised against using real dried orange slices because they could potentially scratch the user. The dried orange slice is meant to be removed before using the bar; however, I understand how some might miss that point.
The technique I used was a drop swirl: I poured a darker orange base and then ‘dropped’ a lighter orange into it. I also used a hanger tool to create even more swirls. The final step was to insert the orange slice. I named this soap “Orange Sunrise.”
I loved these so much that I used most of them as gifts. I’ll be making more once my last two are gone. Essential oils (EOs) are highly volatile, meaning they tend to quickly vaporize or evaporate; they do not last in cold process soap. This is exactly why I usually don’t use EOs, given their expense and the large amounts needed
compared to fragrance oils. In this case, I used Orange 10X Essential Oil (EO), which is concentrated 10 times

and designed not to fade quickly in cold process (CP) soap. This EO discolors to orange, which was perfectly fine because I chose both orange and a lighter orange for contrast.
