Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.
Goat’s milk, Olive Oil, Canola Oil (high oleic), Tallow (Grass Fed Beef), Coconut Oil, Palm Oil (Responsibly Sourced), Sodium Hydroxide (none remains in the final product), Crisp Anjou Pear FO, Castor Oil, Sodium Lactate (Liquid salt), EDTA (Chelator to help with hard water), & colorants
5% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.
This is a sophisticated blend of bergamot, pear nectar, and ripe, orchard apples; enhanced by heady garden florals of jasmine, lily, rose, pear blossoms, and gardenia, intertwined with precious woods and vanilla.
Another monthly soap forum challenge was the Circling Taiwan Swirl. This soap-making technique involves laying multiple-colored lines along the mold. Once completed, a chopstick is used to swirl the soap down the length of the mold and around the edge to create a circular pattern. The result is a delicate, beautiful look with crisp lines and repeating patterns. While this is usually accomplished with the aid of dividers, the challenge was to do this without them. I chose five bright colors for this challenge.
I had no idea this could be done without dividers. I had already made a few loaves using this design, but with dividers. This challenge pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I realized it could indeed be done freehand. The soap batter has to be just right: not too thick and not too thin. If it’s too thick, the batter becomes too stiff to complete the design; if it’s too thin, the colors become muddy, and the design won’t be as crisp. Dividers make this technique less dependent on achieving the ‘perfect’ consistency of the batter.

In the regular “Taiwan Swirl,” the circling around the perimeter of the mold isn’t done—only the initial swirling along the length of the mold is performed.
