Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.

Ingredients:

Olive Oil, Goat Milk, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil (Responsibly Sourced), Lard, Sodium Hydroxide (none remains in the final product), Distilled Water, Tiger’s Blood FO, Castor Oil, Raw Sugar (boosts lather), EDTA (Chelator to help with hard water), & Micas

5% Super Fat

Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not  to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.

Fragrance info/description from vendor: Make Your Own Buzz

Top Note: Strawberry, Chamomile, Greenery  |  Middle Note: Blood Orange, Rose Petals  |  Bottom Note: Caramel, Woods

This sweet floral fruity accord opens with fragrantly sweet strawberries with a whisper of delicate chamomile and vibrantly full, fresh-picked greenery. The heart interknits this harmonious blend with juicy flavorful notes of blood orange with a hint of the delicate aroma of soft rose petals. The base brings exhilarating scents of sweet caramel and warm woods.

Presented as a monthly challenge, the teardrop soap technique creates a stunning effect when done correctly. The goal is to form a layered “teardrop” of soap down the middle of a bar. This technique is tricky to achieve and requires a slow-moving recipe. This presented a challenge for me, as I prefer using coconut oil and responsibly sourced palm oil, and I’m a bit stubborn when it comes to altering my usual ingredients.

Despite not heeding the advice to adjust my formula, the end product was still acceptable. However, I plan to repeat this technique with a more suitable recipe for better results.

I paired the design with Tiger’s Blood fragrance oil and found “Tiger’s Tear” to be a fitting name, especially considering the poaching of many majestic animals. On a lighter note, the fragrance is fruity and delightful. During the two months they were curing in my kitchen—

especially in the first few days after cutting them into bars—I couldn’t resist walking over to inhale deeply 😊
