Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.
Fresh Oat Milk, Olive Oil, Palm Oil (Responsibly Sourced), Coconut Oil, Distilled Water, Sodium Hydroxide (none remains in the final product), Coffee Latte FO, Rice Bran Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Whole Coffee beans & Oat Flakes (top decoration), Sodium Lactate (Liquid Salt, helps soap remove from the mold more readily), Silk (Cruelty Free), Mica & TD
3% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say your skin will feel oily because there is such a minuscule percentage used.
Coffee Latte FO: Scent Profile: Deliciously comforting and stylish, cream, coffee, and vanilla.
Fragrance Notes: Top: Cream | Mid: Coffee | Bottom: Vanilla
I created my own oat milk after researching how to make it online. For this soap, I used a technique called the drop swirl. The goal was to achieve a two-tone brown effect, with one shade slightly lighter than the other. If you look closely, you’ll notice a small amount of darker soap within the bar. This darker soap was ‘dropped’ into the base (main portion) after it had been poured into the mold—hence the name ‘drop swirl.’
Once the secondary color is dropped into the main batter, you can use a hanger tool to create more intricate swirls or leave it as is. For this soap, I chose not to use the hanger tool.
I added just a bit of oats to the top, along with one coffee bean. Next time, I think I’ll make the secondary color a nice creamy shade to better represent the ‘oat milk’ part
of the soap’s name. I might also incorporate several swirls with the hanger tool to give it a wispier look.
