Because color is displayed differently on various devices, the soap you order could be different from what you’re viewing on your phone, laptop, or monitor. This is a common occurrence with online shopping; it has to do with display resolution, number of pixels and bit depth.
Distilled Water, Olive Oil, Palm Oil (Responsibly Sourced), Coconut Oil, Sodium Hydroxide (none remains in the final product), Campfire FO, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Sodium Lactate (Liquid Salt), Silk (Cruelty-Free), & Micas
3% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.
Scent Profile: Hear the chanting and distant drums as magic is invoked around the bonfire. Rich cedarwood and amber sandalwood crackle in the flames while patchouli, Amyris, saffron, and clove combine to fill the air with smoky incense.
Fragrance Notes: Top: Saffron | Mid: Clove, Incense, Sandalwood | Bottom: Amber, Patchouli, Smoke
I discovered a technique called the “Splash Swirl,” which creates a dynamic, swirling effect. I immediately envisioned using this method to mimic a campfire. The appearance varies depending on how often and how closely the hanger tool is moved up and down through the soap batter.
For this soap, I chose colors reminiscent of a campfire: a brown base with a touch of yellow on top, followed by a fiery reddish-orange. Using the hanger tool, I pushed it to the bottom of the mold and gently pulled it up while moving across to the other side, creating the swirling effect.
Scented with Campfire Fragrance Oil, this soap is named Campfire. It was made as a gift for our two sons, to remind them of our cherished yearly camping trips.
We all enjoy sitting by the campfire for hours, adding more wood, and being mesmerized by the ever-changing flames and the scent of burning wood.

Visually this is my favorite soap. It lathers well and has a clean, soft feel after showering.
This one was fun to make to remind me of our yearly campouts with our two sons throughout the rest of the year.
