Ingredients:
Rice Milk, Aloe Vera Juice, Safflower Oil, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil (Responsibly Sourced), Sodium Hydroxide (none remains in the final product), Hemp Oil, Kokum Butter, Lard, Castor Oil, EOs (Orange EO, Lemon EO, & Tea Tree EO), Orange Peel Powder, Lemon Peel Powder, Turmeric, & Activated Charcoal, & Colorants
5% Super Fat
Super Fat: to use a small excess of ‘free’ fatty acids in a recipe that are deliberately NOT converted to soap. Instead, these tiny oil molecules remain within the soap matrix and are then transferred to your skin when washing. This is not to say that your skin will feel oily because only a minuscule percentage is used.

The Tea Tree EO scent in this soap isn’t strong because it’s combined with equal parts of Orange and Lemon EOs.
This one was a FUN soap to make—colorful and zany! Using my homemade rice milk to avoid preservatives, this facial bar also contains dehydrated aloe vera juice.
I had a blast incorporating Orange and Lemon Peel Powders, Turmeric, and Activated Charcoal into the design. It’s a great feeling to create useful products for myself and my family. I only use essential oils (EOs) in these soaps because of their cost; also, they’re volatile, meaning the scent of EOs fade more quickly in soap than when using Fragrance oils.
The ‘all over’ look of the colors is due to my freely pouring the various colors into the mold with no rhyme or reason.
I was so pleased with how it turned out—almost fiery-
looking, like a campfire with charcoaled wood and red, orange, and yellow flames. With the multiple citrus peel
powders and the charcoal, Charcoal and Citrus seemed like the perfect name.
