With daily use:

  • Short beards (3–4 drops/day): about 7–9 months

  • Medium beards (5 drops/day): approximately 5½ months

  • Longer / fuller beards (6–8 drops/day): around 3½-4 months

Actual usage varies depending on beard density and personal preference.

With daily use, most customers can expect:

  • 3-4 months for 1″ beards

  • 1.5-3 months for medium 3″ beard

  • 1-2 months for 4-6″ or full beards

Actual usage varies depending on beard density and personal preference.

Most men use ½–1 pea for short beards, 1 dime for 3 inch beards, and dime to nickel size for 4-6 inch or full beards. Adjust based on beard density and desired hold.

Estimated longevity will vary depending on lathering preference and beard characteristics. Using the bar directly on the beard will generally use more soap than building a lather in the hands and applying it. Beard length and thickness also play a role, as longer or denser beards typically require more product per wash.

When used approximately twice per week:

  • Short beard: about 3–4 months
  • Medium beard: about 2–3 months
  • Long/thick beard: about 1.5–2 months

Estimated longevity will vary depending on beard length, thickness, and how much product is used per application. Longer or denser beards typically require more conditioner to fully coat the hair. Using only what is needed and distributing evenly through the beard can help extend the life of the product.

When used approximately twice per week:

Most people use roughly:

  • Short beard: dime-sized or less
  • Medium beard: nickel-sized
  • Long/thick beard: quarter-sized or more

  • Short beard: about 5–6 months
  • Medium beard: about 4–5 months
  • Long/thick beard: about 3–4 months

Beard oil is designed to condition the skin beneath your beard and soften facial hair for a healthier, more manageable feel.

Step 1: Start Clean

Apply to a clean, slightly damp beard (after showering is ideal).

Step 2: Dispense the Right Amount

Place a few drops into the palm of your hand.

  • Short beard: 2–3 drops

  • Medium beard: 3–5 drops

  • Long beard: 5–8 drops

Start small — you can always add more.

Step 3: Warm It Up

Rub your hands together to evenly distribute the oil.

Step 4: Work Into the Skin First

Massage the oil into the skin beneath your beard. This is where conditioning matters most.

Step 5: Distribute Through the Beard

Work the remaining oil through your beard from root to tip.
Use a comb or brush to ensure even coverage.

Beard balm is designed to condition, soften, and lightly control your beard while adding structure and polish.

Step 1: Start Clean

Apply to a clean, dry or slightly damp beard. For best results, use after showering or washing your face.

Step 2: Scoop a Small Amount

Using the back of your thumbnail, scrape out a pea-sized amount (more if you have a longer or fuller beard).

Step 3: Warm It Up

Rub the balm between your palms until it softens and melts evenly.

Step 4: Work It In

Massage the balm into your beard, starting at the skin and working outward through the hair.

Step 5: Shape & Style

Use your hands or a beard comb to distribute evenly and shape as desired.

Wet your beard thoroughly with warm water.

Rub the bar between your hands or directly on the beard to build a rich lather. Work the lather through the beard from the skin outward, making sure the hairs are evenly coated.

Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

After washing your beard, apply a small amount of Hop & Bacuri Beard Tonic to your damp beard.

Work the conditioner through the beard from the skin outward, making sure to coat the hairs evenly. Allow it to sit for two to five minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

For thicker or longer beards, gently combing the conditioner through the beard can help distribute it evenly and ensure the hairs are fully coated.
